PBL-2H3 cell line, derived from rat basophilic leukemia cell line, widely used in cancer research and drug development in vitro and in vivo. PBL-2H3/HSV1-tk-firefly luciferase (CMV) stable cells express transgenically HSV1-tk/firefly luciferase under the control of the CMV promoter. The cell proliferation and trafficking could be monitored with PET and bioluminescence imaging.
